Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Azure DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in NJ or PA. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and cloud automation using Azure services. This role supports enterprise-scale DevOps practices to accelerate software delivery and ensure high availability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, YAML pipelines, and tools like Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep for Azure resources.
  • Manage Azure cloud infrastructure, including AKS (Kubernetes), Azure Virtual Machines, App Services, and networking (VNet, Load Balancers).
  • Automate deployments, monitoring, and scaling with tools like Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
  • Collaborate with development teams on containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/Helm).
  • Ensure security best practices (RBAC, Azure AD, Sentinel) and compliance (SOC2, HIPAA if applicable).
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and optimize performance.
  • Integrate with version control (Azure Repos, Git) and support agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps/Cloud engineering, with 3+ years specifically in Azure.
  • Azure certifications: AZ-400 (DevOps Engineer Expert), AZ-104 (Administrator Associate), or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) and IaC tools (Terraform preferred).
  • Strong experience with CI/CD, containers (Docker), and Kubernetes (AKS).
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and security scanning (SonarQube, Checkmarx).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with multi-cloud (AWS/GCP) or hybrid environments.
  • Knowledge of GitOps (ArgoCD, Flux) and blue-green/zero-downtime deployments.
  • Agile/Scrum certification (CSM/PSM).

Compensation & Location
