Job Opportunity: Service Delivery Manager
We have a priority requirement for an experienced Service Delivery Manager with over 10 years of experience. This role is for one of our key clients and local candidates are highly preferred. The position is based in Culver City, CA, and requires an onsite presence.
Key Responsibilities and Mandatory Areas:
- Service Delivery Management: Oversee and manage all aspects of service delivery to ensure client satisfaction and operational excellence.
- ITSM & ITIL: Deep understanding and practical application of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and ITIL best practices. ITIL v4 Certification is required.
- Media Domain Experience: Essential experience working within the Media and Entertainment industry.
- Project Management: Proven experience in managing IT projects. PMP / PRINCE2 / Six Sigma certification is advantageous.
- Sony Specific Knowledge: Very strong understanding of Sony’s ITSM processes and SLA expectations.
- Managed Services: Strong service and project management background with knowledge of processes in a Managed Services model.
- Global Teams & Operations: Experience working with Sony global teams and a very good understanding of operations in Infrastructure areas (e.g., Active Directory, Okta) and application development/maintenance in the cloud.
- Tools Proficiency: Strong working experience with tools such as ServiceNow & Jira, which are heavily used across Sony.
- Reporting & Analytics: Hands-on experience with Reporting/Analytics using Advanced Excel.
- Collaboration & Initiatives: Ability to work on initiatives and manage cross-functional collaboration.
- Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to represent global teams confidently.
- Offshore/Onshore Model: Experience working in an offshore/onshore model, ideally with India-based teams.
- Continuous Improvement: A mindset focused on continuous improvement, accountability, and partnership.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of IT experience in service delivery and operations.
- ITIL v4 Certified.
- PMP / PRINCE2 / Six Sigma is advantageous.
- Very strong in Sony’s ITSM process knowledge and SLA expectations.
- Strong service and project management background & knowledge about processes in the Managed Services model.
- Experience working in Sony global teams and Media and Entertainment industry is essential.
- Very good understanding of operations involved in Infrastructure areas such as AD, Okta and application development and maintenance in the cloud.
- Strong working experience with tools such as ServiceNow & Jira.
- Hands-on with Reporting/Analytics using Advanced Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working in offshore/onshore model.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $120,000 – $180,000 per year (Estimated)
