Job Description
The AI Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced AI and Machine Learning solutions. This role requires a strong background in enterprise architecture, with a proven track record in architecting RAG systems, vector search, and LLM-based knowledge platforms. The architect will work with Python, cloud ML platforms (Azure), vector databases, and orchestration frameworks like LangChain/LlamaIndex. Expertise in document AI, NLP, and unstructured data processing is essential. The role also involves designing data pipelines, APIs, event-driven systems, and ensuring security-by-design principles are followed. Experience in the financial services sector, particularly in commercial real estate credit, servicing, or asset management, is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and design RAG systems, vector search, and LLM-based knowledge platforms.
- Develop and implement AI/ML models and solutions using Python and cloud ML platforms (Azure).
- Utilize vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, DB Vector) and orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex).
- Perform fine-tuning and embedding tasks for AI models.
- Apply expertise in document AI, NLP, and unstructured data processing.
- Design robust data pipelines, APIs, and event-driven systems.
- Implement containerization using Docker/Kubernetes.
- Ensure security-by-design principles are integrated into all architectural solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in AI, ML, and related technologies.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in AI, ML, or enterprise architecture roles.
- Proven track record architecting RAG systems, vector search, and LLM-based knowledge platforms.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python.
- Strong hands-on experience with Cloud ML platforms (Azure).
- Strong hands-on experience with Vector DBs (Pinecone, DB Vector).
- Strong hands-on experience with LangChain / LlamaIndex or similar orchestration frameworks.
- Experience with fine-tuning & embeddings.
- Experience/familiarity with document chunking, knowledge graphs, and vectorization.
- Expertise in document AI, NLP, and unstructured data processing.
- Strong architectural skills across data pipelines, APIs, and event-driven systems.
- Experience with containerization (Docker/K8s).
- Experience with security-by-design principles.
- Experience in financial services, preferably in commercial real estate credit, servicing, or asset management.
Special Requirements
Onsite role. Duration: 6 months.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)
