Job Summary:
We are looking for a Data Engineer with prior experience working with Capital One to join our team. This role requires candidates who are local to Richmond, VA or McLean, VA, and will be a hybrid work arrangement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, SQL, Python, and AWS services. A LinkedIn profile, Local DL copy, and former Capital One reference are mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and reporting.
- Utilize Python for data analysis, automation, and data manipulation.
- Work with AWS services for data storage, processing, and analytics.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into data solutions.
- Build dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems.
Required Qualifications:
- Recent experience working with Capital One (strongly preferred).
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Hands-on experience with AWS (e.g., S3, Redshift, Glue, or similar services).
- Solid understanding of data analysis, data modeling, and reporting.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Must have a LinkedIn profile.
- Must have a Local DL copy.
- Must have a former Capital One reference.
- Local candidates only (Richmond VA or McLean VA).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data pipelines.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $110,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
