Job Title: Lead Data Architect (Google Spanner)

We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Architect with deep expertise in Google Spanner and large-scale database systems to design and implement high-availability, high-performance distributed systems.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8-10+ years of experience in data architecture and large-scale database systems.
  • Deep expertise in Google Spanner architecture and internals.
  • Experience designing high availability, high performance, and low latency distributed systems.
  • Strong knowledge of distributed transactions, synchronous replication, and TrueTime architecture.
  • Experience designing petabyte-scale multi-region OLTP systems.
  • Strong understanding of distributed consistency models and global database failure scenarios.
  • Hands-on experience with Spanner or AlloyDB architectures for enterprise workloads.
  • Strong background in data architecture and modeling.
