Job Opportunity: SAP BASIS Administrator
We are looking for an experienced SAP BASIS Administrator to join our client’s team. This role is critical for maintaining and optimizing SAP environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform system administration and maintenance for SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Manage and configure SAP Solution Manager (SOLMAN), including CHARM (Change Request Management).
- Administer SAP BW (Business Warehouse) systems.
- Support SAP RISE initiatives and environments.
- Ensure the smooth operation and performance of SAP systems.
- Implement and maintain SAP security configurations.
- Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Manage system upgrades, patches, and installations.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and support.
- Develop and enforce production operation methodologies.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on SAP BASIS best practices.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience with SAP S/4HANA.
- Proficiency in SAP Solution Manager (SOLMAN), including CHARM.
- Experience with SAP BW.
- Knowledge of SAP RISE.
- Strong understanding of SAP system configuration and maintenance.
- Minimum 8 years of IT management experience, with a background in ITIL or similar foundational technology platform discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of SAP experience, preferably in a global implementation of SAP FS-RI, FS-CD, and FICO modules.
- Minimum 7 years of experience as an ABAP Developer or BASIS administrator.
- SAP Certifications are highly desirable, or at least 7+ years of equivalent experience.
Additional Information:
This is a direct client role with opportunities in multiple locations including Purchase, NY; New York City, NY; Morristown, NJ; Charlotte, NC; and Conshohocken, PA. The role is expected to be onsite.
