Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled COBOL Developer with experience in Visual Basic, SQL, Btrive, DOS, MS Windows, and Informatica or other ETL tools. The ideal candidate will work on COBOL programs related to actuarial functions, utilizing the LifePro system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and debug COBOL programs.
- Work with Visual Basic, SQL, Btrive, and DOS.
- Utilize MS Windows environments.
- Integrate with Informatica or other ETL tools.
- Support actuarial programs and use the LifePro system.
- Participate in Agile processing and daily stand-up meetings.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in COBOL.
- Experience with Visual Basic, SQL, Btrive, and DOS.
- Familiarity with MS Windows.
- Experience with Informatica or other ETL tools.
- Understanding of actuarial knowledge is a plus.
- General accounting knowledge is beneficial.
- LifePro experience is desired.
Education and Experience:
- Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
- 4 or more years of related experience in coding, testing, and debugging.
- A minimum of 1 year of application development (integration) experience in the investments/finance background.
Additional Information:
- This is a 6-month contract-to-hire position.
- Candidates with relocation willingness are considered.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $50,000 – $90,000 per year
