Job Title: Appian BPM design/Architect

DMS Visions Inc is seeking an experienced Appian BPM Architect for an onsite role in Hartford, CT. Relocation assistance is available. This is a contract position with a 6-month duration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical design, development, and deployment of Appian solutions.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Develop reusable components, record types, SAIL interfaces, process models, and reports.
  • Integrate Appian with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and Connected Systems.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for Appian deployment and version management.
  • Perform code reviews, enforce Appian design best practices, and mentor development teams.
  • Optimize applications for security, performance, and scalability.
  • Support production troubleshooting and environment management activities.
  • Ensure the candidate has a strong understanding of Appian’s product features, including BPM Fundamentals, Architecture Components, and Designer Features.
  • Hands-on experience in design and development in Appian BPM, including components such as Tempo, Mobility Features, Forums, Discussions, Pages, Smart Services, Reports, and Deployment.
  • Possess good knowledge of Java, J2EE, Ajax, JavaScript, JS, XML, XSLT, etc.
  • Mentor teams of 5-7 members and demonstrate excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of Appian Administration and servers such as IBOSS, WebSphere, WebLogic, etc. is a plus.

Required Qualifications:

  • L3 certified is a must.
  • Appian Architect with 12+ years of experience, including 5 years in design architecture.
  • Minimum 5+ years of Appian BPM design/architect and development relevant experience.
  • Overall 10+ years of BPM exposure in process orchestration and automation.
  • Good knowledge of the product including BPM Fundamentals, Architecture Components, Technical Features such as Designer Features, Configurations in Appian, etc.
  • Should have hands-on experience in design and development in Appian BPM including components such as Tempo, Mobility Features, Forums, Discussions, Pages, Smart Services, Reports, Deployment etc.
  • Should have good knowledge of Java, J2EE, Ajax, JavaScript, JS, XML, XSLT etc.
  • Appian Certification (Appian Senior Developer).
  • Should have handled teams of size 5-7 and should be able to mentor the team.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Good knowledge of Appian Administration and servers such as IBOSS, WebSphere, WebLogic etc.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $75 – $95 per year
