Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced UX Designer with a strong hands-on background in user experience design and execution. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing Figma libraries and design systems, as well as experience with SharePoint or similar platforms for managing documentation and content hubs. A solid understanding of user research, persona development, and UX strategy is essential, along with strong stakeholder management skills across various teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research to understand user needs and behaviors.
- Develop user personas and journey maps.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
- Manage and maintain Figma libraries and design systems.
- Utilize SharePoint or similar platforms for content hub management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and designers.
- Present design solutions and rationale to stakeholders.
- Gather and incorporate feedback from user testing and stakeholder reviews.
- Ensure design consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of hands-on UX design experience.
- Proven experience managing Figma libraries and design systems.
- Experience with SharePoint or similar platforms for documentation/content hubs.
- Strong understanding of user research, personas, and UX strategy.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Candidates must be local to MN.
- Previous Cargill experience is highly preferred for the initial shortlist.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working within large enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with structured UX intake processes and governance.
Will NOT be a fit:
- Candidates without hands-on UX work (too strategic/managerial).
- Pure UI or visual designers without research/IA experience.
- Candidates with no Figma/design system experience.
- Candidates without prior Cargill experience (for initial shortlist).

Compensation & Location
Salary: $50 – $70 per year (Estimated)
