Job Summary
Exxon Upstream is hiring a hands-on Tech Lead to drive application development and data engineering initiatives. The role focuses on modernizing systems, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering scalable solutions within upstream oil & gas environments.
Technical Stack
- Languages: C#, .NET, Python
- Data Platform: Databricks
- Cloud (Preferred): Azure / AWS
- Data Engineering: Data pipelines, transformations, analytics workflows
- DevOps (Preferred): CI/CD
Key Requirements
- 8+ years experience (23+ years in Tech Lead role)
- Strong C#/.NET & Python hands-on experience
- Deep Databricks expertise
- Experience leading cross-functional teams
- Upstream Oil & Gas domain experience (Must)
- Strong communication skills
Nice to Have
- Cloud experience (Azure/AWS)
- Data-heavy/analytics platforms
- Legacy system modernization

- Hybrid role (Spring, TX – local only)
