Job Position: JAVA + ANGULAR Engineers

We are seeking experienced JAVA + ANGULAR Engineers to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and mentoring junior team members on applications using modern Java, Angular, and Spring Boot.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop applications using Angular, Java, and Spring Boot.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to understand requirements.
  • Participate in all Agile ceremonies (scrum, sprint planning, retrospectives).
  • Ensure applications adhere to Section 508 accessibility standards and usability principles.
  • Utilize Agile tools such as Git, Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence for project management and version control.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful and Web APIs.
  • Work with relational databases like PostgreSQL or Oracle.
  • Implement Microservices architecture patterns.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of modern Java, Angular (9+), Spring Boot, and REST API development.
  • Full-stack development expertise (front-end + back-end).
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in modern software development.
  • 8+ years of experience working in Agile environments.
  • Extensive experience in Java/J2EE, Angular (9+), Spring Boot, and Spring Framework.
  • Strong understanding of OOP concepts and Twelve-Factor Application Design principles.
  • Strong knowledge of JPA and JDBC.
  • Strong front-end development skills: Angular (9+), HTML, JavaScript, CSS.
  • Experience with Microservices architecture and REST APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile tools: Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence.
  • Experience in API Development, SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture), SOAP & REST services.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with Apache Kafka.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with modern tools and technologies like Jenkins, Maven, Nexus, Splunk, OpenShift, XML/XSLT, VisualVM / Eclipse Profiler, AWS (S3).
  • Experience in DevOps environments and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and terminology.
  • Experience working in Linux environments.
  • Experience with multithreaded and enterprise applications (Spring Boot).
  • Knowledge of Spring Framework / Spring Boot / Spring Batch, JUnit, mocking frameworks, Git, Maven, TDD / BDD (Cucumber, Selenium), XSLT transformations, JAXB, XML processing, JZOS, Apache FOP / iText, Mainframe JCL.
  • Experience with Tableau reporting.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must provide LinkedIn ID, Passport No, and I-94.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Woodlawn, MD (5 days/week).

Compensation & Location

Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
