Job Title: Experienced QA Engineer with State Client Experience

We are assisting a candidate, Hema B, in finding a new role as a Senior QA Engineer. She has over 15 years of experience, with a strong background in automation, IVR, and enterprise systems, particularly supporting state government clients.

Experience Highlights:

  • QA Leadership Across Full SDLC & STLC: 15+ years in Functional, Regression, End-to-End, UAT, and System Integration Testing. Extensive work in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall environments. Strong experience collaborating with developers, architects, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
  • IVR & Contact Center Testing Expertise: Hands-on experience testing Amazon Connect-based IVR systems. Validated call flows, DTMF/speech recognition, routing logic, queue management, and CTI integrations. End-to-end validation across Amazon Connect, Salesforce Service Cloud, and MuleSoft APIs. Experience supporting large modernization initiatives for State of Connecticut DSS.
  • Test Automation & CI/CD: Designed and implemented Selenium WebDriver automation frameworks using Java, TestNG, and Page Object Model (POM). Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber and Karate. Built automated regression suites integrated into CI/CD pipelines, reducing manual regression effort and accelerating release cycles. Automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java, TestNG, and Cucumber (BDD), implementing Gherkin feature files for functional and regression testing.
  • API & Integration Testing: Strong expertise in testing REST, SOAP, and GraphQL APIs using Postman and SOAP UI. Validated complex integrations across Salesforce Service Cloud, MuleSoft, and backend systems. Experience validating payloads, error handling, and data transformations.
  • Enterprise & Public Sector Modernization Experience: Worked on large-scale systems including Medicaid modernization (CT METS), Eligibility systems (ImpaCT), Child Support Enforcement (DOJ Oregon), and DHS Arkansas worker portal. Strong experience validating distributed systems, legacy integrations, and database integrity (DB2, SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
  • Device & Hardware Testing: Tested PIMG/TIMG Gateways, firmware upgrades/rollback. Multifunction printer (MFP) validation print/scan/fax/network. Experience with network monitoring tools like Wireshark, Splunk, and Kibana.
