Role: Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 FO Technical Developer (Data Migration)

This is a long-term, remote contract position with expected multi-month extensions. The role requires a strong background in D365 FO technical development, including X++, Azure integrations, and Power Platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform hands-on development for Microsoft Dynamics 365 FO, focusing on data migration and technical solutions.
  • Develop and extend functionalities using X++ and the extensibility framework.
  • Integrate D365 FO with other systems using Azure services like Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, and Key Vault.
  • Create and manage OData and custom services for data access.
  • Develop solutions using the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
  • Debug, refactor, and optimize existing code, including legacy code.
  • Implement and analyze solutions using Azure Application Insights.
  • Utilize Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks like RSAT.
  • Participate in data migration and cutover activities.
  • Work in environments with high customization and large codebases.

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizen only (Federal project requirement).
  • 8+ years of hands-on D365 FO development experience.
  • Deep hands-on experience with X++ & extensibility framework (8+ years).
  • Extensive experience with Finance & Supply Chain modules (8+ years).
  • Proficiency in Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Key Vault (8+ years).
  • Strong experience with OData/custom service creation (8+ years).
  • 5+ years of experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
  • Ability to read, debug, refactor, and optimize legacy code.
  • Microsoft certifications in D365 / Power Platform are a plus.
  • Experience with Dataverse and virtual entities.
  • Experience with Azure Application Insights (deployment + analysis).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD using Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with RSAT or automated testing frameworks.
  • Knowledge of data migration & cutover activities.

Additional Information:

  • This is a remote position.
  • The contract is expected to be long-term with potential for extensions.
  • The role is for a Federal project, requiring U.S. Citizenship.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
