Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled Kong API Developers to design, implement, and manage API solutions using Kong API Gateway. The ideal candidates will have experience in API development, gateway configuration, and microservices architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy APIs using Kong API Gateway
- Configure plugins, policies, and security features in Kong
- Integrate APIs with backend services and microservices
- Monitor API performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with Kong API Gateway
- Proficiency in RESTful API design and development
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms
- Familiarity with API security (OAuth2, JWT, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of Lua scripting (for Kong plugins)
- Prior experience in enterprise API management
