Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Process Control Engineer to join our team. This role involves the creation, development, and implementation of control systems for automated manufacturing equipment, including PLCs, HMIs, and motion control systems. You will be responsible for identifying and resolving issues, downtime, and quality problems in automated machinery, optimizing performance for safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, develop, and implement control systems for automated manufacturing equipment, including PLCs, HMIs, and motion control systems.
- Identify and resolve issues, downtime, and quality problems in automated machinery, optimizing performance for safety and efficiency.
- Ensure all automation and control systems comply with FDA regulations, ISO standards, and GMP requirements specific to medical devices.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for control systems, support equipment validation activities, and ensure change control processes are followed.
- Implement new technologies, conduct root cause analysis for failures, and lead initiatives to enhance the reliability and efficiency of manufacturing processes.
- Support the commissioning and upgrades of manufacturing equipment, providing technical support, and training to maintenance teams.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems for manufacturing equipment.
- Proficiency with PLCs, HMIs, and motion control systems.
- Strong understanding of FDA regulations, ISO standards, and GMP requirements, particularly in the medical device industry.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain technical documentation.
- Experience with root cause analysis and process improvement initiatives.
- Strong communication and training skills.
