Job Description: Sr. Java & GCP Developer
We have an immediate requirement for a Senior Java and GCP Developer. This is a remote position for US-based candidates only (USC or GC holders). The role requires strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and various Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, as well as experience with the Apache Beam programming model.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and deploy high-quality Java applications using Spring Boot.
- Design and implement microservices and APIs.
- Utilize GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, and Cloud SQL for data processing and storage.
- Implement data processing pipelines using the Apache Beam programming model (Java SDK).
- Build and maintain scalable and reliable cloud-native applications on GCP.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Java and GCP.
Must-Have Skills:
- Java (Spring Boot, Streams, Threads, Collections)
- GCP: BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL
- Apache Beam programming model (Java SDK)
- Microservices & API development
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
- Strong understanding of software development best practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Senior Java Developer.
- Hands-on experience with GCP services.
- Experience with distributed systems and data processing frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
