Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician (Business Analyst 5)
Smartiplace.net is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Technician for an immediate opportunity. This is a long-term, remote position with the State of Ohio.
Scope of Work / Duties:
- Managing test runs, jobs, and calendars
- Reviewing software requirements and user stories; preparing test scenarios
- Designing and developing manual test scripts
- Executing system, integration, regression, and related test cycles
- Detecting, documenting, and tracking software defects and inconsistencies
- Producing documentation for defects, test results, and testing activities
- Preparing comprehensive testing reports for the design team
- Engaging with clients and vendors to understand product requirements
- Participating in design reviews and providing input on requirements and risks
- Delivering timely reviews, test designs, solutions, and documentation
- Applying quality engineering principles throughout the Agile lifecycle
- Performing additional related duties as assigned
Additional Requirements:
- Minimum 35 years of manual software testing experience (degree not required)
- Nice to have: Experience with debt collection, FICO/Jonas C&R Software Debt Manager
- Required: Experience with ALM Octane or comparable workflow/tracking tools
