Job Summary:
Prophecy Techs is urgently seeking a skilled GCP Cloud Consultant with DevOps expertise for an onsite position in Woodland Hills, CA. The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of core GCP experience and a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and security best practices. This role is critical for managing and optimizing our client’s cloud environment, ensuring robust and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and operate core GCP services including Cloud Run, Internal Load Balancer, Cloud Storage, IAM, and Pub/Sub.
- Implement and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and manage workflows with GCP workflows.
- Expertise in GKE (operationalize, internal vs external).
- Implement security remediation, VPC SC, and custom IAM roles.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins and ROSA migration.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of self-service GCP services using Backstage.
- Ensure data backup and cross-region replication using Rubrik CyberVault.
- Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues.
- Stay updated with the latest GCP and DevOps trends and best practices.
Must-Have Skills:
- 5+ years of experience with core GCP services.
- Proficiency in Cloud Run, Internal Load Balancer, Cloud Storage, IAM, Pub/Sub.
- Experience with Terraform, Git, and GCP workflows.
- Strong understanding of GKE (operationalize, internal vs external).
- Experience in security remediation, VPC SC, and custom IAM roles.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, ROSA migration).
Good to Have Skills:
- Experience with GEMINI LLM caching.
- Experience enabling GCP services as self-services using Backstage.
- Familiarity with Rubrik CyberVault for backup & cross-region replication.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $130,000 – $170,000 per year
