Job Title: Oracle Subscription Management Functional Lead
Location: Schaumburg, IL
Duration: 6+ Months
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead client workshops, gather requirements, and translate them into functional designs for subscription models (recurring, usage-based).
- Configure Oracle Subscription Management Cloud, including product catalogs, pricing rules, billing schedules, proration, and discount logic.
- Manage end-to-end subscription lifecycle: creation, amendments, renewals, upgrades, downgrades, and cancellations.
- Ensure seamless integration with Order Management (OM), Receivables (AR), Revenue Management (RMCS), and external systems for a unified solution.
- Drive SIT/UAT, troubleshoot issues, provide post-go-live support, and conduct user training.
- Hands-on experience in the conversion of contracts to OSMC.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), advising on subscription best practices, SaaS billing, and revenue recognition (ASC 606/IFRS 15).
Required Skills and Experience:
- In-depth understanding of core subscription management processes, including: Product Catalogs and Services, Pricing and Rating Models, Billing and Invoicing, Renewals and Cancellations, and Revenue Recognition.
- Strong knowledge of Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes and Oracle Fusion Cloud.
- Experience with related Oracle modules (OM, AR, RMCS, Install Base).
- Deep functional expertise in Oracle Subscription Management Cloud.
- Ability to create functional design documents (FDDs) and test cases.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Understanding of revenue recognition standards (ASC 606).
