Job Description:

The Salesforce Developer will design, build, and implement Salesforce solutions that support business processes and digital transformation initiatives. The role includes customizing Salesforce applications, developing integrations, and collaborating with business and technology teams. Experience in the Banking Financial Services (BFSI) domain is a strong added advantage, enabling deeper understanding of customer journeys, compliance workflows, and financial products.

  • Salesforce Core Skills: Apex (Classes, Triggers, Batch Scheduled Apex), Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, Visualforce page development, Salesforce Flows, Process Builder, Workflow Rules, SQL, SOSL queries, Salesforce data modeling, Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP) and integration frameworks, Understanding of Salesforce Security Model, CICD tools (Gearset, Copado, Git, Azure DevOps).
  • Preferred Technical Skills: Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud. Familiarity with MuleSoft, Boomi, or other integration middleware.
  • Agile Scrum delivery exposure.
  • Knowledge of SQL, relational databases.

Must Have Functional Skills:

  • Ability to understand and convert business requirements into technical designs.
  • Strong understanding of CRM processes and customer lifecycle.
  • Troubleshooting and issue-resolution capabilities.
  • Working with business partners for requirement clarification.

Essential Skills:

  • Generic Managerial Soft Skills: Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work in cross-functional teams. Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking. Time management and multi-tasking abilities. Leadership skills for senior or lead roles. Strong documentation skills.
  • Experience or understanding of BFSI domain concepts: Banking Processes, Retail, Commercial banking workflows. Customer onboarding KYC processes. Loan origination, mortgage lifecycle, and underwriting. Case management for disputes, service requests. Regulatory Compliance Awareness (KYC/AML standards). Risk assessment and fraud monitoring flows. Audit and data governance requirements. Product Knowledge (Deposits, credit cards, loans, mortgages). Financial transaction handling and dispute resolution. Call center service workflows for banking customers.
  • Specific Salesforce Use Cases: Integration with core banking systems. Customer 360 views tailored for financial advisors. Service Cloud for banking contact centers. Lead-to-Opportunity flows specific to financial products.

Education:

At least a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or closely related field is required.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $60 – $80 per year (Estimated)

Location: McLean, VA
