Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Java Developer with strong expertise in cloud-native application development on GCP. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience in Java, Spring ecosystem, microservices architecture, and big data databases, along with strong SQL skills using PostgreSQL. This is a fully onsite role in Alpharetta, GA, and requires in-person interview availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Develop RESTful APIs and backend services following best practices.
- Work with big data databases and handle large-scale data processing.
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas, queries, and performance.
- Implement secure, resilient, and high-performance backend systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and production support.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 12+ years of strong backend development experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Java.
- Strong experience with Spring Framework & Spring Boot.
- Hands-on experience building Microservices architecture.
- Mandatory experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience working with Big Data databases.
- Strong expertise in PostgreSQL (Postgres SQL).
- Experience developing REST APIs and distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD and cloud deployment models.
Nice to Have
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Exposure to cloud monitoring and logging tools.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Salary: $124,800 – $145,600 per year (Estimated)
