About the Role
This position is for a Sr. Engineer responsible for collaborating with leaders, business analysts, project managers, IT architects, technical leads, and other developers, along with internal customers, to understand requirements and develop needs according to business requirements. The role involves maintaining and enhancing existing enterprise services, applications, and platforms using domain-driven design and test-driven development. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and debugging complex issues, identifying and implementing solutions, and creating detailed project specifications, requirements, and estimates. Additionally, you will research and implement new technologies to enhance current processes, security, and performance, support the development of coding standards, and adhere to best practices and security guidelines. You will work closely with software architects and technical leads to ensure decisions meet long-term enterprise growth needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and develop solutions based on business requirements.
- Maintain and enhance existing enterprise services, applications, and platforms using DDD and TDD.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues.
- Develop detailed project specifications, requirements, and estimates.
- Research and implement new technologies to improve processes, security, and performance.
- Support the creation and adherence to coding standards and security guidelines.
- Work with architects and technical leads to align technical decisions with enterprise growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training.
- 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale solutions in production environments.
- Proficiency in Full Stack Development.
- Proficiency with C# (required), PySpark and Python (a plus).
- Experience with frameworks such as Spring/SpringBoot, FastAPI, .Net Core, .Net Framework.
- Hands-on experience with front-end technologies including CSS, jQuery, AJAX, and Single Page Architectures like React.
- Proficiency with source control tools like GitHub and Azure DevOps.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
- Experience with data management tools such as PostgreSQL and MS SQL.
- Familiarity with integration/API technologies including Kafka, REST, and GraphQL.
- Experience with cloud providers such as Azure.
- Proficiency in other Dev Ops toolchains like Selenium, SonarQube, GitHub, Kibana, and New Relic.
- Knowledge of networking and security concepts: OAuth, VNet Injection, VNet Integration, Private Endpoints, Azure Firewall.
- Proficiency in object-oriented design techniques and principles.
- Experience with development tools such as Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, SQL Server Management Studio, and Azure Data Studio.
- Ability to communicate ideas clearly verbally, in writing, in code, and in diagrams.
- Ability to work effectively through others by cooperatively sharing responsibilities.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies, such as SCRUM.
Preferred Qualifications
- Airline experience is preferred.
Additional Information
- This role requires 3 days/week onsite.
- Candidates must have 7+ years of experience.
- Interviews will consist of 2 rounds: virtual and in-person, including a coding assessment.
- There is no opportunity for conversion at this time.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $114,400 – $114,400 per year (Estimated)
Location: Fort Worth, TX
