Job Overview:
Smartiplace.net is seeking a highly experienced Sr. SAP S/4HANA Plant Maintenance (PM/EAM) Lead for an immediate opportunity. This role is crucial for leading the deployment of standard SAP S/4HANA Equipment Master functionality, specifically tailored for Aerospace & Defense (A&D) environments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in SAP S/4HANA Greenfield implementations and a deep understanding of government-owned property, serialized equipment, and compliance-driven asset tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy SAP S/4HANA Equipment Master functionality aligned with Aerospace & Defense business and compliance requirements.
- Configure multiple equipment categories to support government-owned and customer-owned property.
- Enable automatic Equipment Master creation at goods receipt.
- Configure and manage serial number and UID generation, tracking, and lifecycle management.
- Implement systematic segregation of government and customer-owned inventory using unique material numbers, WBS elements, storage locations, warehouses, and/or plants.
- Integrate Equipment Master processes with SAP Stockroom Management (ex-WM) or SAP EWM.
- Collaborate with MM, PS, WM/EWM, and compliance teams to ensure accurate reporting and audit readiness.
- Support testing, data migration validation, cutover, and hypercare phases.
Required Qualifications:
- US Citizenship is mandatory.
- 10+ years of SAP implementation experience.
- Hands-on delivery of SAP S/4HANA Greenfield implementations leveraging SAP best practices is required.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Equipment Master and serial number management.
- Aerospace & Defense experience is mandatory, including government property and UID tracking.
- Experience supporting regulated, compliance-driven environments.
- Solid understanding of MM, WM, and PS integration.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.

- Duration: 13+ months
- Location: 60% travel, 40% remote (California & Washington state preferred).
- Domain: Aerospace & Defense (A&D).
- Start Date: April 6th.
- VISA: Only USC Accepted.
- West Coast candidates are preferred.
- Must have A&D experience.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)
