Job Overview
We are urgently hiring for a Sr. Front End Developer with specific experience within the Capital One ecosystem. This is a hybrid role located in Richmond or McLean, VA, requiring a strong background in full-stack development, Generative AI, and cloud-native engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain front-end applications using Vue.JS, Node.JS, and Python.
- Integrate and fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs) within the Generative AI ecosystem.
- Deploy and manage cloud applications on major platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), with specific knowledge of AWS Lambda, AWS RDS, AWS Fargate, and AWS S3.
- Design and build scalable REST and/or GraphQL APIs for AI services.
- Utilize data streaming and messaging queues like Kafka.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Work with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Manage and interact with relational databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, Amazon RDS (MySQL/Aurora), Oracle, or SQL Server.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years of overall development experience.
- Extensive full-stack development experience with Vue.JS, Node.JS, and Python.
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI frameworks and libraries, including integrating and fine-tuning LLMs.
- Demonstrated experience in cloud-native engineering on AWS, Azure, or GCP, with specific knowledge of AWS Lambda, AWS RDS, AWS Fargate, and AWS S3.
- Proficiency in designing and building REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
- Familiarity with data streaming and messaging queues (e.g., Kafka).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Core RDBMS experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Amazon RDS, Oracle, or SQL Server.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $90,000 – $130,000 per year (Estimated)
