Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Consultant with 20+ years of expertise in OT and/or IT network architecture, specifically within manufacturing environments. This is a remote role requiring a willingness to travel as needed. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and consulting capabilities, deep expertise in designing and implementing OT/IT network architectures, and a thorough understanding of OT equipment, IT assets, and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical delivery activities for complex consulting engagements, ensuring customer satisfaction and accurate timekeeping.
  • Act as the primary technical resource or lead a team of consultants on projects.
  • Manage project activities from client engagement through final invoicing.
  • Design and oversee the implementation of OT/IT network solutions in manufacturing environments.
  • Provide continuous technical guidance throughout OT/IT network implementations.
  • Understand and align OT equipment, IT assets, global applications, and local software.
  • Develop and maintain governance models with a strong risk awareness.
  • Collaborate with IT network teams to develop disaster recovery (DR) strategies and remediation plans.
  • Perform gap analysis for DR playbooks.
  • Create comprehensive documentation, including templates and diagrams (Visio).
  • Mentor and guide junior consultants to foster a collaborative learning environment.
  • Work independently on highly complex projects or as part of a consulting team.
  • Demonstrate expert-level domain knowledge with broad cross-discipline understanding.

Required Qualifications:

  • 20+ years of experience in OT and/or IT network architecture.
  • Experience in manufacturing environments is essential.
  • Strong leadership and consulting capabilities.
  • Deep expertise in OT/IT network architecture for manufacturing.
  • Hands-on experience designing OT/IT network architectures.
  • Strong understanding of OT equipment, OT assets, IT assets, and local/global applications.
  • Ability to design governance models and risk management frameworks.
  • Experience developing disaster recovery (DR) playbooks and performing gap analysis.
  • Strong documentation skills (templates, diagrams, Visio).
  • Capability to lead technical teams and deliver complex consulting engagements.
  • Bachelor’s degree, industry certifications, or equivalent experience.
