Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SRE Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Site Reliability Engineering with a focus on implementing Elastic AI Ops. You will be responsible for the architectural design of large production IT ecosystems, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement customer journey-based observability for applications, infrastructure, and networks using Open Telemetry and Elastic Search.
- Architect solutions for large-scale production IT environments.
- Develop and maintain automation tools and frameworks for infrastructure management.
- Manage and optimize cloud and modern infrastructure components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement SRE best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of system reliability and performance.
Technical Skills:
- Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an SRE Architect or in a similar role.
- Deep understanding of SRE principles and practices.
- Experience with observability tools and platforms.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Additional Information:
This is a contract position located in Cary, NC. The role requires the candidate to be local to North Carolina.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
