Job Description: AWS Architect
We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Architect with a strong background in Wealth Management and Investment Platforms within the banking sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining modern, scalable, secure, and compliant architectures across various critical areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architecting modern, scalable, secure, and compliant solutions for portfolio management, advisory workflows, trading, client digital channels, data/analytics, and regulatory reporting.
- Developing robust architectures for wealth and investment platforms, including:
- Portfolio Management Information Systems (PMIS)
- Financial planning tools
- Advisory platforms & proposal engines
- Order Management Systems (OMS)
- Portfolio accounting & performance systems
- Investor and advisor portals
- Designing API-first, event-driven architectures that seamlessly integrate market data, trading platforms, custodians, and downstream reporting systems.
- Ensuring Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) such as low latency, high resilience, auditability, scalability, and data integrity are met.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an AWS Architect.
- Deep understanding of the Banking and Wealth Management domain.
- Experience in defining and implementing cloud-native architectures on AWS.
Additional Information:
This is a local position requiring candidates to be based in or willing to relocate to Naperville, IL. No relocation assistance will be provided.
Special Requirements
Local to Illinois Only. No Re-Location.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)
