Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Siebel Lead Administrator with deep expertise in Siebel Architecture, Administration, Monitoring, Automation, and Troubleshooting. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience across Siebel versions IP16 through IP24 on Windows OS, strong operational leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in managing complex support environments. Experience with Siebel data quality tools and upgrade activities is essential.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Siebel Administration & Architecture: Install, configure, and administer all Siebel versions, including the latest release. Perform end-to-end environment management, including SRF deployment, RR migration, non-replication deployments, and log management. Deep understanding of Siebel architecture (preIP17 and postIP17).
  • Performance Tuning & Diagnostics: Conduct performance tuning and optimization activities. Perform SARM analysis, FDR reviews, and crash diagnostics to resolve system issues. Monitor Siebel environments proactively and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Upgrades & Release Management: Lead and execute Siebel upgrade projects from preIP17 to the latest versions. Ensure seamless deployments across multiple environments with minimal downtime.
  • Data Quality Tools Administration: Install, configure, and administer data quality tools such as Informatica Identity Resolution (IIR) and Oracle EDQ. Integrate data quality tools with Siebel workflows and processes.
  • Team Leadership & Support Operations: Lead support teams in day-to-day operations and incident/problem management. Provide documentation, training, and mentoring for new and existing team members. Establish best practices, automation approaches, and process improvements.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • DevOps & Cloud Readiness: Experience with DevOps tools: Jenkins, ELK, GIT (installation & configuration). Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements for Siebel deployments.
  • Infrastructure & Cloud Migration: Hands-on experience setting up Siebel infrastructure on Windows/Linux. Exposure to cloud migration projects (Lift & Shift).
  • Database & Server Administration: Capable of performing DBA activities supporting Siebel environments. Strong Windows and Linux server administration skills.

Qualifications

  • Certifications (Preferred): Siebel certifications, Cloud certification (AWS/Azure/OCI), DevOps certifications.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities. Strong communication, team collaboration, and stakeholder management. Ability to lead, mentor, and guide support teams effectively.

This role requires a candidate with a strong technical background in Siebel administration and a proven ability to lead and manage complex support operations. The candidate should be comfortable working onsite 5 days a week.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $60 – $80 per year (Estimated)

Location: Bloomington, IL
