Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled AWS Cloud and DevOps Engineer to assist with the migration of a media sales data environment to a new AWS account. While the high-level architecture is established, the team requires support with manual configuration, connectivity troubleshooting, and permission errors. This role is crucial for accelerating the migration process and ensuring adherence to AWS best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resolve Connectivity Friction: Troubleshoot and fix existing access issues between Lambdas, EC2 instances, and data sources (S3/Athena).
- Best Practice Guidance: Act as an advisor to ensure service configurations, resource tagging, and account structures align with industry-standard AWS best practices.
- Environment Verification: Audit and test Security Groups and Resource-Based Policies to ensure traffic flows correctly before the dev team starts a deployment.
- Migration Acceleration: Handle the manual setup and repetitive provisioning tasks (VPC endpoints, secret management, and IAM policy refining) that currently derail the internal team.
