Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Workday Technical Analyst with a strong background in Workday deployments and business process optimization. This role will play a critical part in leading and supporting a successful Workday implementation, serving as a key liaison between HR, IT, and Finance to ensure alignment, adoption, and delivery of milestones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary Workday subject-matter expert for the organization.
  • Lead and support full lifecycle Workday deployment, including requirements gathering, configuration oversight, testing, and go-live readiness.
  • Manage implementation milestones, deliverables, risks, and deadlines across multiple business units.
  • Translate business needs into system requirements and functional specifications.
  • Partner with HR, IT, and Finance stakeholders to ensure functionality supports operational and compliance needs.
  • Facilitate cross-functional workshops, user training, and change management efforts.
  • Troubleshoot issues, recommend enhancements, and help maintain ongoing Workday optimization post-launch.
  • Support vendor management and coordinate with external Workday partners and consultants.
  • Document processes, workflows, and best practices to enable long-term scalability.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Lead with hands-on Workday experience.
  • Proven track record in Workday deployment or large-scale system implementation (HCM, Payroll, Finance, or Time & Absence preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-department technology projects.
  • Strong understanding of HR, Finance, and IT business processes.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage executive stakeholders and end users.
  • Ability to influence decisions, drive accountability, and guide project teams.
  • Must be able to work onsite in Brooklyn, NY.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with post-go-live Workday stabilization or enhancement cycles
  • Business process reengineering and workflow documentation experience
  • Technical comfort with reporting, integrations, or data conversion is a plus

Other Details

  • Onsite role, Monday-Friday
  • Full benefits package available if converted to permanent hire
  • This has a potential of going perm – 6 months

Special Requirements

Candidate must be local to the Brooklyn, NY, Queens, NY or Nassau County, Long Island. Need only from these locations. In-person interview is mandatory. Must have own Car.


Compensation & Location

Salary: $70,000 – $100,000 per year (Estimated)

Location: Brooklyn, NY
