Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced MTM Functional Architect with strong expertise in Message Transaction Management (MTM)/Market Transaction Management within the Utilities domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and supporting MTM solutions, managing market transactions, and ensuring seamless integration with utility systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead functional design and architecture for Message Transaction Management (MTM) solutions.
  • Analyze and manage market transaction messages and business processes in deregulated utility markets.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
  • Ensure seamless integration between MTM and other utility systems such as billing, meter data, and market interfaces.
  • Support configuration, testing, and deployment of MTM solutions.
  • Provide functional guidance to development and integration teams.
  • Troubleshoot transaction processing issues and ensure compliance with market rules.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience with Message Transaction Management (MTM) in the Utilities domain.
  • Experience working in deregulated energy markets and market transactions.
  • Strong functional knowledge of market messaging, transaction lifecycle, and validations.
  • Experience gathering requirements and creating functional design documentation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Oracle Utilities solutions (CC&B, C2M, MDM).
  • Knowledge of EDI/XML market transactions and utility market protocols.
  • Experience working with utility market integrations and regulatory compliance.

  • This is a 100% Remote, Long-term Contract position.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $110,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)
