Job Description: Python Developer (100% Remote)
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Python Developer to join our fully remote team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-stack development, with expertise in backend services using Python and Java, and frontend development using modern frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend services, building responsive front-end components, and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
A key aspect of this role involves integrating and managing Okta for user authentication, Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and OAuth/OpenID Connect workflows. You will implement secure access controls, token management, and role-based permissions, and be adept at troubleshooting Okta configuration issues and maintaining identity workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Java and Python.
- Build responsive and scalable front-end components using modern frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
- Develop RESTful APIs and microservices to support application features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Integrate and manage Okta for user authentication, SSO, MFA, and OAuth/OpenID Connect workflows.
- Implement secure access controls, token management, and role-based permissions.
- Troubleshoot Okta configuration issues and maintain identity workflows.
- Participate in system architecture discussions and contribute to design choices.
- Work collaboratively in an Agile environment with product managers, architects, and QA teams.
- Deploy and monitor applications using CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS DevOps, etc.).
- Utilize cloud platforms (AWS) for scalable application deployment.
- Design and optimize SQL/NoSQL database solutions (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
- Ensure data integrity, security, and efficient performance tuning.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Python and Java for backend development.
- Experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Hands-on experience with Okta for identity and access management.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
- Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL database solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
