Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Data Science & Analytics Lead to spearhead data-driven decision-making and advanced analytics initiatives within the retail domain. This onsite role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, product teams, and data engineering to deliver actionable insights, predictive models, and AI/ML-powered solutions that align with retail business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of data science and analytics strategies.
- Design, build, and deploy machine learning models and AI solutions.
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Create compelling data visualizations and reports to communicate findings.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into analytical requirements.
- Mentor and guide junior data scientists and analysts.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance.
Required Skills:
- Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- SQL (DataOps)
- Python
- DevOps
- Data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker)
- Strong business acumen and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Cloud ecosystems (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- MLOps practices
Experience:
- 15+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or related fields.
- Experience in the retail domain is highly preferred.
Location:
- San Francisco, CA (Onsite)
Job Duration:
- Long-term contract position.

Salary: $120,000 – $180,000 per year (Estimated)
