Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled SAP BTP Developer with expertise in RAP (Restful ABAP Programming Model) and UI5 to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying applications using the SAP BTP Environment. This role involves implementing RAP behavior definitions, CDS views, service bindings, and integrating with UI frameworks like Fiori Elements and UI5. You will work on building end-to-end OData V4 services and integrating SAP BTP applications with various SAP and cloud services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy applications using SAP BTP Environment and SAP RAP.
- Implement RAP behavior definitions, CDS views, service bindings, service definitions, draft handling, and transactional processing.
- Build end-to-end OData V4 services using RAP and integrate with UI frameworks such as Fiori Elements and UI5.
- Develop reusable CDS artifacts, business logic, and extensibility frameworks within the BTP ecosystem.
- Integrate SAP BTP applications with S4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), Event Mesh, Destination Service, and other BTP services.
- Optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with SAP clean core and cloud-ready coding practices.
- Collaborate with architects, functional consultants, and DevOps teams to design secure and scalable solutions.
- Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, and contribute to architecture discussions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in SAP RAP (managed and unmanaged scenarios), CDS Views, Annotations, Behaviours, Metadata Extensions, OData V4 services, and Fiori Elements consumption.
- Experience integrating BTP applications with S4HANA, CPI, API Management, Event Mesh, Destination Service, and IAS/IPS.
- Solid understanding of cloud-native principles, multi-tenant apps, and deployment on SAP BTP.
- Experience with Git-enabled Change and Transport System (gCTS) or ABAP Git.
- Experience Required: 8-10 years.
- Location: Bellevue, WA (100% onsite).
- Duration: 6+ months.
