Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Data Warehouse Administrator to join our team. This role involves administering and supporting the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) using Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW). You will be responsible for reviewing existing data warehouse architecture, recommending improvements, and developing/implementing ETL processes using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
- Administer and support the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) using Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW).
- Review existing data warehouse architecture and recommend improvements or solution enhancements.
- Develop, test, and implement ETL processes using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) to move data from source systems into the data warehouse.
- Design and visualize the enterprise data management framework.
- Define processes for data acquisition, maintenance, archiving, retrieval, governance, and data lifecycle management.
- Develop physical data models and collaborate with data modelers when required.
- Create testing strategies, test plans, scripts, and documentation.
- Develop and maintain the enterprise data catalog and data dictionary.
- Participate in requirements gathering and design specification development.
- Monitor and evaluate database performance, identifying and resolving performance issues.
- Monitor the Enterprise Data Warehouse environment and respond to incidents.
- Provide documentation supporting the Kimball Dimensional Data Modeling Framework.
- Mentor team members on data warehouse best practices and industry standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree required.
- 7+ years of experience in database design and data warehouse architecture within an Oracle environment.
- At least 2 years (within the last 6 years) administering Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse in an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environment.
- 5+ years of experience administering Oracle data warehouses within the last 10 years.
- Strong experience with Oracle tools for ETL development, database performance management, and tuning in Oracle Data Warehouse and OCI environments.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills working with technical teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Oracle Autonomous Database Cloud 2021 Certified Specialist certification.
- Oracle Machine Learning using Autonomous Database 2021 Certified Specialist certification.
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Professional (2021) certification.
- Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c Certified Implementation Specialist certification.
- 2+ years of ETL development experience using Oracle tools, including building and maintaining ETL pipelines.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $70,000 – $120,000 per year (Estimated)
