Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SAP Professional Services (ProServ) Functional Consultant to join our team for a long-term remote project. This role is crucial for the successful implementation of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, specifically focusing on the Professional Services module. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of SAP ProServ functionalities, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in the implementation and configuration of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, with a primary focus on the Professional Services module.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their unique business requirements and translate them into effective functional solutions within the SAP ecosystem.
- Perform detailed configuration of the SAP ProServ module, including Project Systems (PS), time tracking functionalities, and billing processes.
- Provide comprehensive support throughout the project lifecycle, including testing phases, data migration activities, go-live events, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Act as a subject matter expert for SAP ProServ, offering guidance and best practices to clients and project teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues that may arise during the implementation and post-go-live phases.
- Document configurations, processes, and solutions to ensure knowledge transfer and maintainability.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of overall SAP experience is required.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience specifically with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud is essential.
- Demonstrated strong knowledge and practical experience with SAP Professional Services (PS) module functionalities.
- Proven experience in managing and delivering public cloud projects, adhering to a fit-to-standard approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- A self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
Nice to Have
- Possession of an SAP Cloud certification would be advantageous.
- Prior experience working with the SAP Activate methodology for cloud implementations.
- Experience working within global or distributed teams, demonstrating cross-cultural collaboration skills.
