About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle EBS Techno Functional Consultant for an onsite position in Santa Clara, CA. This role requires a blend of strong functional expertise across Oracle E-Business Suite modules and robust technical development skills. You will be instrumental in the implementation, customization, support, and enhancement of Oracle EBS across Finance, SCM, and related business areas. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering successful Oracle EBS solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Functional Responsibilities:
    • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from various stakeholders.
    • Configure and provide support for Oracle EBS modules, including Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM) and SCM (PO, INV, OM, BOM, WIP). HRMS experience is a plus.
    • Prepare comprehensive functional design documents (e.g., MD050, BR100, AIM/OUM artifacts).
    • Perform gap analysis and propose scalable, efficient solutions that align with business objectives.
    • Support SIT, UAT, and production deployment activities, ensuring smooth transitions.
    • Develop and deliver end-user training materials and provide ongoing functional support.
  • Technical Responsibilities:
    • Develop and customize RICE components: Reports (RDF, XML Publisher), Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, and Workflows.
    • Write and optimize complex PL/SQL and SQL queries, including stored procedures.
    • Work extensively with Oracle Forms & Reports, concurrent programs, APIs, and open interfaces.
    • Assist with data migration strategies, performance tuning, and resolution of production issues.
    • Manage patches, upgrades, and troubleshoot environment-related problems.

Required Skills

  • 10-15 years of hands-on experience with Oracle EBS.
  • Strong functional knowledge of at least one major module group (Finance or SCM).
  • Proven technical development experience in Oracle EBS (RICE components).
  • Deep understanding of Oracle Apps architecture and EBS data models.
  • Experience with AIM/OUM methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Oracle EBS R12.
  • Integration experience with third-party systems.
  • Exposure to Oracle Cloud (Fusion) modules is a significant advantage.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.

Education

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $130,000 – $170,000 per year
