Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with a strong background in the insurance domain to lead application and data integration projects. This is a long-term, hybrid role requiring 5+ years of dedicated project management experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage mid-sized to large IT integration projects independently, ensuring successful delivery from initiation to closure.
  • Apply detailed knowledge of project management and software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including waterfall, agile, and hybrid approaches.
  • Translate business needs into actionable IT deliverables, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Facilitate cross-functional team discussions and manage results in a matrix management environment, leveraging strong communication and management skills.
  • Utilize multi-disciplinary information technology familiarity and proven systems deployment experience.
  • Employ Project and Portfolio Management tools such as MS Project, Planview, and SharePoint for effective project tracking and reporting.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Provide regular project status updates to senior management and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, specifically for application and data integration projects.
  • In-depth understanding of project management principles and SDLC methodologies.
  • Proven ability to manage IT integration projects independently.
  • Background in Commercial Insurance is highly desired.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results in a matrix management environment.
  • Familiarity with various IT disciplines and systems deployment.
  • Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Planview, SharePoint).

Compensation:

  • Rate: $60/HR on C2C or $55/HR on W2
