Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP S4 Sales & Distribution (SD) Consultant to join our team. The role involves resolving tickets, providing support as per agreed SLAs, and managing IT/access requirements. You will review and manage the service request backlog, ensuring efficient prioritization and resolution. This position requires engagement in critical customer escalations, ensuring resolution and conducting postmortem analysis to prevent future issues. Regular reviews with business personnel on status and performance will be conducted, incorporating feedback into service delivery. Collaboration with enterprise support groups and cross-functional teams is essential for problem-solving. The consultant will also comply with the change management process, resolve incidents, fulfill requests, support the hiring process by assessing technical competency, and conduct technical training for associates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resolve tickets and provide support as per the agreed SLAs.
- Manage IT/ access requirements to meet specific needs.
- Review and manage service request backlog to ensure all requests are correctly prioritized, scheduled, and resolved efficiently.
- Engage on any critical customer escalations and ensure customer resolution as well as postmortem analysis to avoid future breakdowns.
- Host regular reviews with business personnel on status and performance and incorporate their feedback into service delivery.
- Work with enterprise support groups and cross-functional teams to resolve problems or issues.
- Coordinate through and comply with the change management process whenever required.
- Resolve incidents and fulfill requests as needed.
- Support hiring process whenever required by assessing technical competency.
- Conduct technical training to fellow Associates / New joiners.
- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong consulting experience in SAP SD.
- Experience in S4 HANA.
- Strong configuration and design skills in SAP SD.
- Experience of working on AMS Projects.
- Preferably functional proficiency with 2+ full lifecycle SAP ECC implementation and at least 1 S4 HANA.
- Proficiency in writing functional specifications, test scripts, test cases, and status reports.
- Demonstrated ability to meet job requirements through a comparable number of years of SD in Production Support.
- Experience in working with Interfaces to SAP.
- Experience with Customer Hierarchy, Pricing condition, Condition records, etc.
- Ability to work with the SAP Other Module on any kind of technical issues.
- Configuration of master data and ability to guide and train users on Business Process.
- Significant, proven customizing experience within SAP SD.
- Experienced in playing a major role in implementation projects.
- Excellent consultancy skills and a pro-active attitude.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Self-starter and excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to work with the SAP team on technical issues.
- Experience in working with related workflow tools.
- Readiness to work in flexible timings.
- Clear understanding of the industry and competitive trends that impact the role.
Integration knowledge to modules like FI, CO, MM is preferred.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $70,000 – $100,000 per year (Estimated)
