Job Description: SDET Engineer
We are looking for a highly skilled Quality Engineer (SDET) with strong automation expertise in JavaScript, Selenium, and API Testing. The ideal candidate will have experience in CI/CD DevOps environments, strong SQL knowledge, and banking domain exposure. Experience with IGNITE, Karate, Hijak, and Service Virtualization is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using JavaScript, Selenium, Java, and Python.
- Develop automated test scripts for UI, API, and backend validation.
- Implement API automation using Karate and other REST tools.
- Perform database validation using SQL queries.
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, DevOps tools).
- Work closely with Dev, BA, and Product teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Implement Service Virtualization for upstream/downstream dependencies.
- Act as Test Data SME: manage, create, and maintain test data strategies.
- Support performance, regression, and integration testing.
- Ensure quality standards and banking compliance requirements are met.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in Selenium WebDriver.
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript, Java, or Python automation.
- API automation using Karate or similar frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database validation.
- CI/CD integration experience (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
- Experience in Banking / Financial Services domain.
- Knowledge of Service Virtualization tools.
- Experience working with IGNITE and Hijak frameworks.
- Must have PP Number at the time of submission.
Additional Information:
This is a 12+ months contract position. The role is based in Pittsburgh, PA, and is remote.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $90,000 – $140,000 per year (Estimated)
