Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tech Lead with expertise in native mobile app development for Android. This role requires a strong background in Kotlin, Java, and the Android SDK, with a focus on building robust and scalable applications. You will be responsible for the end-to-end development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and support of native Android mobile applications using Kotlin and Java.
- Utilize Android SDK and Android Studio for efficient development and debugging.
- Implement and maintain Android architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture.
- Integrate with REST APIs and third-party SDKs.
- Leverage Jetpack components including ViewModel, LiveData/Flow, Room, and Navigation.
- Develop user interfaces with a strong understanding of UX/UI principles.
- Perform application testing, identify and troubleshoot performance issues, and resolve bugs.
- Manage code versions using Git.
Mandatory Skills:
- Hands-on development and support in Kotlin, Java, Android SDK/Studio.
- Proficiency in MVVM, MVP architectural patterns.
- Experience with REST APIs and third-party SDK integrations.
- Knowledge of Jetpack components (ViewModel, LiveData/Flow, Room, Navigation).
- Experience with UI development and UX/UI principles.
- Ability to test applications, debug issues, and troubleshoot performance problems.
