Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Python Developer with a strong background in backend development, particularly with frameworks like Flask, Django, or FastAPI. This is an onsite role in Dallas, TX, with mandatory in-person interviews. The position requires candidates who are USCitizens or hold EADs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain robust, scalable Python applications.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Write efficient and maintainable Python scripts for Linux environments.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies.
- Participate in DevOps workflows, including CI/CD pipelines, Gitlab, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, optimizing application performance.
- Contribute to technical discussions and provide mentorship to junior developers.
- Ensure adherence to OOP principles and design patterns.
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Python development.
- Proficiency with Python web frameworks such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
- Experience working in a Linux environment with Python scripts.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design principles, and scalable architecture.
- Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture.
- Proficiency with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience with DevOps workflows (Gitlab, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes is a plus).
- Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and performance tuning skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be a USCitizen or hold an EAD.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Disaster Recovery concepts.
- Experience leading technical teams or acting as a senior mentor.
