Job Title: SDET (Java, Mobile & API Automation)
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SDET with a strong background in Java, Mobile, and API Automation to join our team. This is a hybrid role located in Alpharetta, GA, with a mandatory in-person interview process. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience and a proven track record in developing and implementing robust automation frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications using Java.
- Implement and manage automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Appium, and Rest-Assured.
- Utilize BDD principles with Cucumber/Gherkin for test case development.
- Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify and resolve defects.
- Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior team members.
- Ensure test coverage and quality of software releases.
- Communicate technical risks and project status effectively to global stakeholders.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 8+ Years of Experience: Extensive experience in Software Development Engineering in Test (SDET) roles.
- Strong JAVA SDET: Expert-level coding skills in Core Java for both API and UI automation.
- Mobile Automation: Practical, hands-on experience specifically with Appium for mobile application testing.
- API Automation: Proficiency with Rest-Assured for API test automation.
- BDD Frameworks: Experience with Cucumber/Gherkin for Behavior-Driven Development.
- CI/CD Tools: Familiarity with Jenkins for continuous integration and continuous delivery.
- Testing Tools: Proficient with Selenium for web UI automation and TestNG for test execution.
- Languages: Java (8+), SQL.
- Process: Agile methodologies.
- Communication & Leadership: Excellent ability to manage a team and communicate technical risks effectively to global stakeholders.
Location and Interview Process:
- Location: Hybrid role in Alpharetta, GA (Atlanta Area).
