Job Description:

This role involves developing and executing automation scripts for web applications as part of a larger software quality assurance project. The Automation Test Engineer will focus on enhancing the test automation framework and integrating it with CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and high-quality software delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts for web applications using AccelQ or similar tools.
  • Setup and maintain environment for test automation.
  • Continuously improve the test automation framework and processes.
  • Integrate AccelQ or other automation tools with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve CI/CD integration issues and performance bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Utilize SQL database and expression builders to import data into AccelQ.
  • Apply logical and analytical thinking to design effective test strategies and scenarios.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.
  • Document test strategies, scenarios, scripts, results, and defects clearly and concisely.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in automation testing.
  • Proficiency in Java or any object-oriented programming language (e.g., Python).
  • Experience with AccelQ tool or similar testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium).
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD processes and tools, especially Azure DevOps.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL databases and API testing (SOAP).
  • Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with performance testing and troubleshooting issues.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • AccelQ certification or hands-on experience with the platform.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Duration: 6+ month

Compensation & Location

Salary: $80,000 – $120,000 per year (Estimated)
