Job Description:
The role requires a seasoned Data Engineer with extensive experience in ELT processes, specifically with Matillion and Snowflake. The candidate will be responsible for developing and supporting ELT/ETL pipelines, implementing CDC patterns, and building self-service reporting solutions. Strong SQL skills and experience with AWS components are essential. The ability to maintain ELT documentation and source-to-target mapping specifications is also crucial.
Technical / Functional Skills:
- 10+ years overall experience with 7+ years as Data Engineer.
- Hands-on experience with Matillion (required).
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake (required).
- Advanced SQL: Stored procedures, functions, triggers, error handling, query tuning on large datasets.
- ELT/ETL process development and support; experience with CDC patterns (batch or near real-time).
- Experience with AWS components (Lambda, S3, other services) is a plus.
- Experience building self-service reporting solutions using BI tools (OBIEE, Looker, Power BI, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and multitasking skills in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to maintain ELT documentation and source-to-target mapping specifications.
