Job Description: Data Architect
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will specialize in Wealth Management and Investment Platforms within the banking sector. This role is crucial for defining modern, scalable, secure, and compliant architectures across various critical areas including portfolio management, advisory workflows, trading, client digital channels, data analytics, and regulatory reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop target and transitional architectures for wealth and investment platforms.
- This includes systems such as Portfolio Management Systems (PMS), Financial Planning Tools, Advisory Platforms, Proposal Engines, Order Management Systems (OMS), and Portfolio Accounting/Performance Systems.
- Design and implement investor and advisor portals.
- Architect API-first, event-driven solutions that seamlessly integrate market data, trading platforms, custodians, and downstream reporting systems.
- Ensure Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) such as latency, resilience, auditability, scalability, and data integrity meet stringent wealth platform standards.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Data Architect, with a strong focus on financial services, particularly wealth management and investment platforms.
- Expertise in defining and implementing modern architectural patterns, including API-first and event-driven designs.
- Proficiency in cloud technologies, with a preference for Oracle Cloud.
- Familiarity with SaaS ERP and Oracle Order Management Cloud.
- Experience with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) concepts.
- Strong understanding of Oracle databases and related technologies.
- Knowledge of project portfolio management principles.
- Experience with data analytics and regulatory reporting within a banking context.
- Ability to ensure high standards for latency, resilience, auditability, scalability, and data integrity.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
