Job Description: Systems Analyst
Triwave Solutions Inc is seeking an experienced Systems Analyst for a remote position. This role requires 8+ years of experience in information security and systems architecture, with a strong focus on cloud-native security, threat modeling, and compliance with frameworks like TCF and NIST 800-53. The ideal candidate will have a wide degree of creativity and latitude, independently performing complex tasks to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understands business objectives and problems, identifies alternative solutions, and performs cost/benefit analysis.
- Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or improve existing computer systems.
- Confers with personnel to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input/output requirements.
- Writes detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.
- Reviews computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine program feasibility.
- Leads the design and implementation of secure-by-default architectures across cloud-native, microservices, and AI-enabled systems.
- Ensures compliance with state and federal frameworks while enabling modernization and transformation initiatives.
Candidate Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in information security and systems architecture.
- Proven experience designing secure cloud-native architectures (AWS preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of Texas Cybersecurity Framework (TCF) and NIST 800-53.
- Expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Zero Trust Architecture.
- Experience performing threat modeling for complex systems.
- Experience securing microservices, APIs, and containerized environments.
- Experience configuring cloud security posture management (CSPM) tools.
- Experience integrating security into DevSecOps pipelines.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- 4+ years of familiarity with securing AI/LLM-based systems and data pipelines.
- 4+ years of experience with data protection strategies for PII, PHI, and sensitive data.
- 4+ years of experience presenting risk assessments to executive leadership.
- 4+ years of ability to draft enterprise security policies and architecture standards.
- 2+ years of certifications: CISSP, CISM, AWS Certified Security Engineer.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)
