Job Title: Tableau Admin
We are seeking an experienced Tableau Administrator to join our team for a long-term contract role in St. Louis, MO. This is an onsite position requiring strong skills in Tableau Server administration, performance tuning, and user support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Tableau Server environments.
- Monitor server performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Manage user access, security, and permissions.
- Perform regular maintenance, upgrades, and patching.
- Optimize Tableau dashboards and data sources for performance.
- Provide technical support to Tableau users.
- Collaborate with IT and data teams on infrastructure and data governance.
- Develop and maintain documentation for Tableau Server configurations and processes.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience with Tableau Server administration.
- Knowledge of Tableau Desktop and Tableau Online.
- Understanding of database connectivity (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of Windows/Linux server administration.
- Experience in performance tuning and monitoring of Tableau environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Additional Information:
- This is a contract position with a long-term duration.
- The role is based in St. Louis, MO, and requires onsite presence.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the US.
