Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Functional FCCS Consultant with strong expertise in implementing Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS). The ideal candidate will have a solid background in financial processes and hands-on experience delivering end-to-end FCCS implementations. This role requires close collaboration with finance stakeholders, IT teams, and project leadership to ensure successful delivery of consolidation and reporting solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support end-to-end implementation of FCCS, including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment
- Conduct discovery sessions with business stakeholders to understand financial consolidation and reporting requirements
- Configure FCCS components such as chart of accounts, entities, intercompany eliminations, currency translation, and consolidation rules
- Collaborate with finance, accounting, and IT teams to align system functionality with business needs
- Participate in and support various testing phases including unit testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Provide functional expertise during issue resolution and system optimization
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation including functional design documents, process flows, and user guides
- Deliver effective communication and presentations to stakeholders, including steering committees and leadership teams
- Travel to client location (Bay Area) for key project phases and milestones as required
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in end-to-end implementation of Oracle FCCS
- Strong understanding of financial consolidation processes, close cycles, and reporting
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including finance, accounting, and IT
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to lead discovery sessions and translate business requirements into functional solutions
- Hands-on experience in system configuration and testing support
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with other Oracle Fusion EPM modules
- Prior experience working in global or multi-entity financial environments
- Ability to work in a remote, distributed team aligned with Pacific Time Zone
