Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Oracle BRM (Billing and Revenue Management) Consultant to join our team. This role is crucial for designing, developing, and supporting robust billing solutions tailored for telecommunications and subscription-based business models. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Oracle BRM architecture, customization, and integration, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end billing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement comprehensive solutions using Oracle BRM.
- Configure and customize core BRM components, including pricing, rating, billing, and invoicing modules.
- Develop and maintain custom opcodes, policy FMs, and PCM client applications to meet specific business needs.
- Integrate Oracle BRM with external systems such as CRM, ERP, and payment gateways.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, providing L2/L3 support.
- Perform performance tuning and optimization of BRM systems to ensure efficiency and scalability.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, architects, and fellow developers.
- Participate actively in requirement gathering sessions, solution design workshops, and technical documentation creation.
- Support system upgrades, migrations, and patching activities to maintain system integrity.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle BRM (Billing and Revenue Management).
- Strong practical experience with:
- Pricing and Product Configuration
- Pipeline Manager / Real-time rating
- Billing Care / Customer Center
- Proficiency in C/C++, UNIX/Linux, and Shell scripting.
- Solid experience with Oracle Database and SQL/PLSQL.
- Good understanding of telecom billing concepts, including prepaid/postpaid, mediation, and rating.
- Experience with BRM integrations using SOAP/REST APIs and Web Services.
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Oracle ECE (Elastic Charging Engine).
- Knowledge of cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or OCI.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools, including CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Jenkins.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Oracle BRM certification is a plus.
